Building Schoolwide Behavioral Support Systems

Schoolwide Behavioral Support (SBS) is a systems approach for increasing a school's capacity to adopt and sustain effective teaching practices that improve academic personal and social outcomes for all students. The fundamental assumption of SBS is that behavior can and should be taught just as academics are taught. Building Schoolwide Behavioral Support Systems documents the incorporation of SBS in two Indiana public schools for an entire year. The DVD chronicles the step-by-step training of leadership teams in both schools.
