    Partners in Parenting Education (P.I.P.E.) Curriculum
    The materials in this curriculum series were developed specifically for adolescent parents and for parents who have had less than optimal parenting examples themselves. The curriculum teaches emotional communication, parent/infant interaction, and skills for emotional regulation, and it addresses the emotional development of the dyad.


    Path to Math: One to One Correspondence: Comparing
    This video shows children engaged in various activities such as matching pairs, distributing materials, placing one toy on each of several blocks and returning materials to shelves. It also shows children finding a relationship between two things on the basis of some specific characteristic. Available in DVD and VHS formats.


    Path to Math: Sets and Classification: Seriation (Ordering)
    This video shows children playing with sets, wearing sets, manipulating materials with a variety of characteristics, and using dramatic play kits. It also discusses seriation (ordering) in which children compare more than two things and put them in order in terms of common elements, learning that "three is more than two." Available in DVD and VHS formats.


    Path to Math: Space: Measurement
    This video demonstrates how children learn about relationships in space (direction, position, distance) and about the use of space (organization, pattern, construction). Available in DVD and VHS formats.


    Path to Math: (a set)
    The videotapes in this series focuses on children learning mathematical concepts on their own. It observes children as they explore, identify, compare and contrast, make guesses, and generalize. Children develop higher-level thinking skills through their own efforts rather than through memorizing and rote learning. Available in VHS format only.


    Science: Anytime, AnyPlace (set)
    This six-part series observes 3-to 5-year-old children in a variety of early childhood settings as they learn about science, animals, plants, the human body, weather light and shadows, motion and machines and water and sound. Available in DVD and VHS formats.

    Recognizing children’s fascination with animals, this video looks at children as they care for classroom pets. We observe them preparing a worm house;we watch as the children take nature walks to find insects, spiders, worms and butterflies. Available in DVD and VHS formats.


    Science: Anytime, AnyPlace: Weather, Light, and Shadows
    This program looks at weather through activities such as using thermometers to track temperature change; determining how temperature affects the type of clothing we wear; using a lamp and screen to study shadow indoors, following soap bubbles to observe wind direction.
