The Instructor's Manual for the Normal Development Middle Childhood and Adolescence-Complete Version (NDMCA-CV) begins with a review of the purpose of the project that began with Normal Development in the First Ten Years of Life: Complete Version (NDFTYL-CV).

The second ten-year installment of this longitudinal stimulus video observation project continues to follow the growth of two children Sarah and her brother Brian and is designed as a resource to teach child and adolescent development.

The in-depth Instructor's Manual includes How the video came to be How to use this video and accompanying materials Quick Reference - Chapter titles and Clip numbers Suggested Discussion Points - for each of the 171 Clips Supplement - presents common topical subject areas of development and suggests clips that can be used to illustrate each topic. These subject areas with minor modifications follow the original topic list provided at the end of the NDFTYL-CV manual. It is designed to function as a companion reference so that you can track the same developmental lines over 20 years if you own both volumes.   Suggested readings for groups of clips by content area. This Manual is for instructors only and is not intended to be given to students.
