Attachment theory developed from Bowlby's vast intellectual interests his respect for the work of others and his own personal experiences. This is discussed in the video by Bowlby his colleagues and his adult children. This video is complimentary to and also illustrates procedures basic to an understanding of attachment theory the Strange Situation and Adult Attachment Interview.
