This three part program begins with OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERVENTION (23 minutes) which introduces the overall tape and surveys by way of case example several circumstances in which infant mental health clinicians find opportunities to help.
PRINCIPLES OF INTERVENTION (49 minutes) examines the major philosophical, strategic, practical, and clinical issues in infant-parent psychotherapy. Case examples are used to explain the ideas of clinicians in various parts of the world.
ISSUES IN CLINICAL INFANT MENTAL HEALTH (23 minutes) identifies and discusses complex questions emerging in the field. Viewers are challenged to consider these issues and participate in the quest toward possible solutions.
