There is overwhelming evidence linking early intervention to better outcomes for children diagnosed with ASD. In order to implement early intervention practitioners first need to identify children at risk at a very young age.
This piece also introduce a novel approach for analyzing this dyadic behavior using methods derived from dynamic systems theory.
Finally the empirical findings from the study from a dynamic systems framework of brain and behavior development are discussed.
