Thoughtful people have always been deeply concerned with the moral nature of their actions and recent historical events have further widened the scope of this interest. It is only within the last hundred years, however, that we have systemically examined the factors involved in moral behavior.
Morality: Judgments and Actions reviews some of the basic work of Piaget, Kohlberg, Skinner, and Milgram and investigates current research into the domain theory of Elliott Turiel and his associates. Focusing on the interaction of judgments and actions, this video uses structured interviews, everyday interactions, and graphics to describe how people with diverse cultural backgrounds make moral judgments.
