In this video ten children, ranging in age from seven to seventeen, talk about the role their parents and teachers play in the learning process.

The children talk honestly about how much (or how little) their parents are involved in their learning, and how this plays a role in their success in school. They also talk about the relation that exists between their parents and teachers and how this relationship can have a impact on their academic success.

Too often society in general, and schools in particular, forget that the parent is the child's first teacher and must be kept involved throughout the child's school years if the child's potential is to be achieved.
