The Integrated Early Childhood Curriculum for English Language Learners

This curriculum is a guide for professionals to enhance language, social, intellectual, and pre-reading skills of early-childhood English-language learners.

The curriculum consists of ten themes:

1) Who Am I and Who Are You?,

2) My Family and Our Home,

3) Getting Along with Others,

4) My Body,

5) My Senses: Sight and Hearing,

6) My Senses: Touch, Smell, and Taste,

7) Pets in My Neighborhood,

8) Camping We Will Go, 9) Taking Care of Our Earth, and

10) Ways We Travel.

The curriculum also includes a variety of multi-sensory activities that emphasize language development through art, music, social studies, drama, science, and mathematics.
